Have Your Christmas Tree Recycled!
Contact Information:
Michael Pacholec
Full Description:
This year marks our 25th anniversary! The Boy Scout troops of Sammamish have performed the Christmas tree recycling drive as an annual service project and their only fundraiser for the year since Christmas 1985 (January 1986). Your donations are a critical part of their ability to provide a quality program, consistent with the high ideals of Scouting. All donations raised are used right here on the plateau to fund Scouting programs for six plateau area troops. They thank you for your support.
* This year's pickup is Saturday, January 9th, 2010.
* The suggested donation is $15-$25 per tree.
* All your donations go directly to funding the local Boy Scout troops right here on the Sammamish plateau.
* Please put your tree out before 9am.
The Do's:
Please place your donation in the envelope that was attached to your flyer. Seal the envelope and place it on the bottom of the tree with a rubber band (also consider putting the envelope inside a small, clear, plastic bag in bad weather). Make checks payable to "Boy Scout of America" and place the tree on the curb near the street before 9 AM.
The Don'ts:
For safety reasons, we cannot accept trees with tinsel, flocked trees, trees with nails, artificial trees, wreaths with metal shape wires, or trees with any other metal attached.
