Fourth on the Plateau

The City of Sammamish is proud to announce the inaugural Fourth on the Plateau, a new event celebrating community, family and fun! The Fourth on the Plateau will take place on July 4, 2007 and boasts one of the largest celebrations and fireworks shows on the Eastside. This community celebration provides an exciting opportunity for thousands of Sammamish residents to connect at a fun-filled event that is sure to become a family tradition! Located at the new Commons Park next to City Hall at the corner of 228th Ave. SE and SE 8th St., the park is a beautiful space with several great vantage points from which to view the fireworks. Festivities start at 6pm and will feature live music on the main stage, a kid’s playground and food and craft vendors selling 4th of July favorites. But the real bang comes at dusk with the Sammamish Fourth on the Plateau Fireworks Display at 10:15pm. Let us do the cooking! Food vendors will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, gyros, and other festival favorties. Interested in volunteering???
